UPDATE 1-25-19: See Part 2, titled "Space War game, Popular Electronics, April 1976: PART 2"
This documentary is about the "Space War" game that was designed by Joseph Weisbecker of RCA, and featured in the April 1976 edition of Popular Electronics. Weisbecker was also the originator of the 1802 microprocessor, and the designer of the "ELF" microcomputer that was featured in the August 1976 edition of Popular Electronics.
In 2015, Lee Hart and Josh Bensadon decided to collaborate on a project to provide a kit version of Space War for the 2015 Vintage Computer Festival; apparently it was not very popular at the show.
In Late 2018 I encountered the Space War article and mentioned it to Lee Hart, who advised me that he still had a few kits left over from the computer show, and he sent me one of them.
This video shows a description of the kit, my construction and testing of it, and subsequent design and construction of a display case for the game.
