MITES on Thailand Black TARANTULA !!! ~ Another NIGHTMARE in the hobby.

WHY’S IT GOTTA BE MITES ?!
Btw, the tarantula in this video is my friend’s Haplopelma/Cyriopagopus minax (Thailand Black). I visited him one day and noticed there were parasitic mites on the tarantula that he was not aware of. I told him about it and he asked me to bring the tarantula back home to try and get rid of the mites.. and so I did.
I dried out the enclosure for a couple days and all the mites disappeared. That was one effective way of doing it. If you wish to do so, please do it at your own risk, especially if it’s for a moisture-dependent species in a cold/dry country. Where I live is always hot and humid, so I was able to do this with lesser risk.
First thing you wanna do if you notice one of your tarantulas having mites is to isolate it as far as possible from the rest. Mites spread very quickly, and you will have a huge problem if they manage to find the other tarantulas.
If you’ve finished watching the video, once again I’d like to mention here; I am just explaining what I did that worked for me. It is not necessarily the correct or only way do get rid of mites.
