0:13 - 0:26 Hi, I’m Alexa Ledecky, Social Media Coordinator at Diverse City. We’re a South West based NPO committed to achieving equity and diversity in the arts. I was at AMA’s Future Now event and here’s what I loved and what I learnt.
0:27-0:38 First off, I heard from Anne Lise Kjaer on the concept of global citizens. Here’s a key quote: “Human flourishing is the future business”. Definitely check out her 4P communication model online.
0:39-0:47 Then I saw Carl Timms on content creation in 2025. 80% of people would rather watch a video than read a vlog - guess why I made this?
0:48-0:58 Second major learning point: analytics. Chris Unitt was an absolute goldmine, giving away lots of industry tools. Made me feel more confident in this specific area which is super valuable as a young professional.
0:59-1:19 Met inspiring people, special shout out to Robin Christopherson who spoke about creating accessible digital content, which is at the heart of Diverse City’s mission too.
“I really hope you guys will leave feeling a little bit different about doing things in an inclusive way, because it will make for better experiences for your customers, both today and tomorrow”
1:19-1:29 And last but not least, Suhair Khan from Google Arts who inspired me to think of ways to digitise and document Diverse City’s impact in the arts to share with it with others.
1:30-1:36 And that’s it in a nutshell - my day at AMA’s Future Now. Looking forward to the next events.
