With the Dremmel shaping of the underside of the Kettlewell Frictionless Mouthpiece SLIDER complete, inventor, designed and master craftsman, Mr. David Kettlewell begins the hand sanding of the underside of the SLIDER.

By fitting the SLIDER to the actual player's instrument, a perfect fit is guaranteed. Of course, the harp must be sealed from all dust.
Starting with rough grit sandpaper and progressing to 800 grit, the process of sanding by hand begins.

This invention eliminates friction of lips to mouthpiece, ends need for saliva to lubricate and thus keeps harp clean, facilitates easy movement to new note hole positions, and provides the player with a relaxed pucker embouchure.
