Reading & Northern 425: Thunderstorm In the Gorge (BCP Vignette)

Reading & Northern's flagship locomotive, ex-Gulf, Mobile & Northern 4-6-2 "Pacific" #425, has been referred to as "Blue Mountain Thunder" in recent years, in reference to its thunderous exhaust that can sometimes be heard for miles. While filming the blue Pacific on its runs through the Lehigh Gorge in Jul of 2017, a thunderstorm made its way to the region, just as the last train of the day had departed from Jim Thorpe Station.
