In this lesson, I am going to show in 4 easy steps how you can take the easiest beginner chords and make them sound like your own.
While this whole process can seem like a lot, of you break it down in individual steps, there is nothing overly complicated in there. What I did is:
1) I took the 4 beginner chords we first learn on guitar.
2) I broke them down into super easy triads by keeping only the top three strings.
3) I played these shapes one octave higher to get more separation.
4) I changed the chords underneath by going in reverse direction of the harmonization of that key (it's going to be clear in the video).
Voilà! You now have awesome sounding harmonies and nothing is complicated to play. Everything is super simple!
