Sinful entertainment. -------------------

48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
The things we entertain ourselves with has great effect on this. You may not agree with this, but it is true. Stop going with your own knowledge. Earthly knowledge means nothing. This world has been created by a spiritual being. This world is ran by spiritual concepts. Thinking Earthly is not going to help you understand how this world is ran. It doesn't matter what your friends and family say. If what they say does not line up with the word of God, their words are useless. You need to abide in the word of God. Not in your own understanding.
The things we entertain ourselves with has great effect on us. As I stated above. What am I trying to say? You should not be watching movies or television shows that has nothing to do with God. You should not be listening to ANY music that has nothing to do with God. Stop listening to music that has nothing to do with God! I am serious. Stay away from people who don't want to serve God. Even if they are your close friends. Why am I saying all of this? You are either going to be influenced by things of God or things of demons. When you choose to be entertained by things that are not of God, it is going to affect and hurt you. It will continue to have you to sin. It does not matter if you agree with this or not. The truth is the truth. Stay away from all of the sinful things that has nothing to do with God. You can still watch movies. Watch movies that are about God or about the Bible. You can still watch television shows. Watch television shows about God or the Bible. You can still listen to music. Listen to music that is about God or the Bible. Everything that you entertain yourself with, it has to change. If you follow my advice, serving God is going to be much more easy.
You can't fill yourself up with the devil and expect to be able to serve God. It makes completely no sense. Watching and listening to sinful entertainment, is just going to corrupt you even more. Follow my advice. It is truly going to help you. You can continue doing what you are doing. Continue to fail at your efforts in trying to please God. At least you can't say that no one tried to help you. I pray that you follow my advice. If you want to get close to God, you have to be willing to sacrifice everything. Your life should be unrecognizable when you begin to to live for God. This is a truth.
Some people say that if you give up all of these things, your life is going to be boring. Which is not true at all. Let me ask you this, how will your life be in hell? Will your life in hell be very enjoyable. I would think not. Stop thinking so much on pleasure and entertainment. Think about the things that are going to save your spirit. If you are serious about your life, he will make the necessary changes. Sacrifice is not easy. Of course it is not going to feel too well. In the end, you will be thankful that you did make the sacrifices. May God bless you. May you do the will of God.
REMINDER:
As a reminder, the doctrine of "once saved, always saved" is a lie. What is that doctrine?
"As long as you believe in Jesus Christ, you can sin all you want, you will go to heaven after death (you are saved)." This is a lie. In many places in the Bible, it is informing you to stop sinning. I can show you some scriptures if you like. Please request them, if you are interested. How can you tell the difference between a servant of God and a complete sinner? How they live their lives. A servant of God is going to live their life different from a sinner. If your life resembles a life of a sinner, guess what, you are a sinner. There have to be a difference. Of course we are going to make mistakes from time to time. That is normal. When you make a mistake, quickly repent of your sins afterward (asking God for his forgiveness). Make sure you are not consistently sinning every day.
