Make Levels Based around the NEW Course Elements.
If you make levels based around the new course elements, then people will playing them levels a lot more often since when they get the game, they will be looking forward to checking out all the new content that the game has to offer instead of the old content.
Use Tags
Tags are a great way to rank in level search and make your levels appear way more frequently for random players in Super Mario Maker and it can give a clear indication of what your level is about so if the level you created falls under what they were looking for, then you will most likely receive a play from them and you will most likely receive a maker point in return.
Twitch
The Super Mario Maker community is a great place for sharing your levels with other people and earning maker points from since there a lots of streamers who will do Viewer Level Streams and that stream entitles to people playing levels from the viewers of the stream who submitted the levels to them. Make sure to follow and turn on notifications for the streamer as well so that you can catch their stream on time so that you can be nice and early with the streamer playing your level and most likely receiving that maker point.
