Apollo 10 Suit Up, Transfer To Launch Pad & Spacecraft Egress May 18, 1969

Ask yourself, if they needed all these technicians to suit them up then how did they do it on their own on the moon?
Why did they need to get suited up in the first place since on the journey they took the suits off, if something went wrong the were dead.?
