OMG! Too much is going on & I can't deal. I feel so bad for my baby. So Jae has always had a very sensitive scalp her entire life and had an infection once before as a baby but it never got this bad & was cured with a special shampoo in no time. It started off as just dandruff, or so I thought and quickly got worse. It been a week since she seen a doctor who prescribed a prescription that costs almost $800. Within that week her hair fell completely out within that area and is now much more bulgy and yucky looking while I'm still actively trying to get my hands on this prescription.
Anyway, this is a disease called TINEA CAPITIS caused by superficial fungal infection of the skin of the scalp, eyebrows and eyelashes with a propensity for attacking hair shafts and follicles. This disease is considered to be a form of superficial mycosis or dermatophytosis. In the United States and other regions of the world, the incidence of tinea capitis is increasing.
So yeah...... I'll been dealing with this for a while & will keep you guys updated
