Indiana Boy Missing in Floodwaters for Nearly a Week

Indiana Boy Missing in Floodwaters for Nearly a Week The small community of Delphi, with a population of about 3,000 people, held a prayer vigil for Owen Monday.
The DNR said in a press release on Sunday that more than an inch of rain fell in the Delphi area in the previous 12 hours, and that water conditions were very hazardous for searchers. Nearly three inches of rain has fallen in nearby areas in the past week.
"Aside from the strong current, the water is very muddy, which makes it impossible for rescuers to see anything below the surface," the update said.
The DNR was also asking the public not to try and help with the search because of the dangerous conditions.
Owen was last seen wearing a blue sleeveless shirt and blue shorts.
