The New Hyundai Venue is the brand's first sub-4 metre compact SUV and promises to deliver the strong points of the Creta but in a more affordable package, which will see it competing with the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford Ecosport, Mahindra XUV 300 and the Tata Nexon. To make a strong case for itself, the 2019 Hyundai Venue engine options range from a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol to a 1.4-litre diesel, all of which are packaged to deliver performance and efficiency in equal measure. Hyundai is also offering a combination of three transmission options - a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual and, for the first time in this segment, a dual-clutch 7-speed automatic gearbox as well. Claimed mileage figures stand at 17.52kmpl for the 1.2 litre petrol MT, 23.70kmpl for the diesel MT, 18.27kmpl for the 1.0 litre petrol MT & 18.15kmpl for the 1.0 litre petrol AT.
The Hyundai Venue interior also packs in a punch when it comes to features, be it in respect to infotainment, connectivity, ease of driving or safety. It also features important value additions such as a sunroof, projector headlights and fog lamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control and lots more.
