Easy & Inexpensive Patriotic Garland Centerpiece Doorswag

Hi Guys, In this video I show you how to make this simple garland. It can be used as a centerpiece or a door swag. You can make it for any holiday.
Materials Needed:
1 yardstick (mine came from Lowe's)
1 roll of 10 inch deco mesh (mine came from Hobby Lobby)
pipe cleaners
1 or 2 bunches of flowers from Dollar Tree
1 roll of Dollar Tree patriotic garland
1 roll of ribbon from Dollar Tree
1 of the glitter stars on burlap ribbon from Dollar Tree (3 medium stars)
scissors
hot glue gun and glue sticks
wire cutters
ruler ( I cut mine at 24 inches to make the ruffles.)
You can drill a hole in the yardstick and add a wire to hang it as a door swag.
led battery lights would look cute on it (Dollar Tree)
Spray paint if you would like to paint your yardstick.
