I’ve said that I might have the best job in America. I get to head the Institute for Advanced Studies in Culture, and culture drives big things like our politics and economics and education. Yes, these things in turn affect our culture, but they’re only part of our culture as a whole—and our culture as a whole is what the Institute studies.
