Today we're sharing with you guys the brand new Billygoat Z3000 stand on leaf blower! This unit was formerly the Hurricane Z3 and X3 until Brigg's purchased them last fall. Now the Hurricane stand on leaf blower's join the Billygoat family of outdoor power equipment. So check this out, we actually get to use this blower for a month long demo, and plan to put the stand on blower through it's paces on our own job sites. I'm excited to report back in to you guys how it performs, what we like, don't like, etc etc.
Today was a just a fun drop off and debrief video on the unit from Jeff and Joe. I will say, my first impressions were: this thing is a monster of a leaf blower. It's honestly hard to do it justice. You can see half way through the video when Joe took it along our property lines to the field, that it was picking up ice and snow off the ground, and discharging it 20 feet. The leaves on this site are matted down and also frozen to the ground, yet it was shooting those out 30-40 feet as well. Just unbelievable.
The Z3000 retails for $12,500, and the X3000 retails for $10,500. Sounds pricey, but the crazy thing is, these can replace 2 or 3 guys no problem, especially during the leaf clean up season. I think there is a lot of merit to them, and from what I've heard from the guys that do own them, they love them.
