DIY: How to make pockets in the darts. Sewing a frock coat.

This is Paukshte Fashion Workshop. I remind you that we post new videos every day.
Today we continue working with the pockets in the chest darts.
Last time we showed you the details which should be prepared in advance.
We also showed you how to double the underlay pieces and the pocket opening.
I remind you that in my frock coat the chest darts end with the pockets.
Today we are going to show you how to stitch the pocket bags, how to edge them and how to stitch the side seams.
I hope that many of you will make sure pockets.
The smaller pocket bag should be stitched to the underlay piece.
The pocket bag details should be stitched to each other face-to-face.
Be very attentive!
Natalie is going to tack the dart next. It should be tacked down from the top.
First we need to stitch the dart and the pocket bag. After that we’ll stitch the side seam.
The pocket should be pressed to the lower part of the frock coat. This is why we are going to press the whole seam this way. Watch the way Natalie is working.
Iron the details both from the wrong and the right sides.
Be especially attentive when ironing the pocket opening.
Make sure that you don’t stretch the side seam when ironing the detail. It’s not easy to work with the details cut on a bias.
