During the housing crisis, numerous home owners found themselves wrongfully foreclosed on by big banks. Wall Street has finally been forced to respond to these accusations, but the settlements being sent to millions of Americans isn't what many would expect. Of the millions of people who unjustly lost their homes, the vast majority can expect a check for only a meager $300. More than a dozen companies including Bank of America, Citi, Wells Fargo and HSBC are helping out with these long-awaited settlements, but shouldn't they be paying more? Journalist Alexis Goldstein, a former Wall Street exec with Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank who now contributes to The Nation, joins RT's Meghan Lopez for more.
