With crops in the ground most of the year along with the ground frozen half the winter, we only get a brief window to metal detect at these old colonial farms. This place has been a nice honey hole so far giving up 10 large cents and 6 1700's coins including silver reales, NJ state copper, and a 1723 Woods Hibernia, sp we figured another go-round might be worth the effort. Little did we know the ground would be frozen solid but with the window as short as it is we had to make the best of it.
