Shadow Dancing With Your Partners Whether We Know It or Not

Have you ever met anyone you couldn’t stand? Conversely, have you ever met anyone you instantly fell madly in love with or put on a pedestal? Well, say “Hello” to your Shadow. The majority of our relationships begin through projection of our unlived life, what Jung called our “Shadow.” Using Jungian psychology and astrology, Rebeca Eigen will give you insights into the way that we all create patterns in our relationships, how our shadow is formed and how to recognize it when we are dancing in an unconscious collusion with our partners.

Being in the human experience, we have all had many painful, difficult experiences where it clearly looks like it is the other persons fault, or bad luck in life or whatever else we want to call it. So taking responsibility for what appears to come to us is no easy task but it is well worth the effort. When we have the courage to open our eyes and see the mirror (Venus) they represent, we are on our way to healing an internal split. We can’t change anything we don't know about. Shadow integration is the doorway into the unconscious that leads one to find his or her inner divinity (the Self) which ultimately can be experienced as wholeness.

So if you find yourself puzzled by relationships that are repeating, this 1/2 hour presentation is for you. As Edna St. Vincent Millay says, “Life is not one thing after another, it's the same damn thing over and over.” Find out why.
