Serie A giant Juventus have not lost of signing Paul Pogba in time for next season. The Italian club were speculated to be in the hunt to land their former midfielder in the winter transfer window, only for his form to greatly improve and United rule out an offload. The World Cup winner has recovered from a difficult first stanza to the season by finding the back of the net six times and creating four goals in eight games under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Despite the Turin giant seemingly close to announcing an agreement to land Aaron Ramsey from Arsenal in the summer, The Mirror suggest that Pogba could also join Juventus. The Old Lady are thought to be preparing a bid for the explosive 25-year-old midfielder, which they hope will tempt his current employers to sell. Juventus had the France international on their pay roll for four seasons between his two spells at Old Trafford, offloading the Frenchman back to Old Trafford in an £89million deal in 2016. The Red Devils will allocate interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a of about £200 million in the summer if he is appointed permanent boss in the summer. The Norwegian is now highly favourite to take permanently charge of the side next term after winning ten of his first nine matches as interim head coach. Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino had been listed as United’s first choice some weeks ago but ‘baby face assassin” Solskjaer’s delightful start, couple with the Argentine’s complex nature in terms of acquisition, have handed Ole’s chances a huge boost.
