In this video, we're taking a break from DIY projects to talk about how I got started with being a full-time blogger after getting fired from my job exactly 4 years and 1 day ago, on January 8, 2015. I was a government contractor Project Manager. No, I hadn't done anything egregious (like stealing office supplies). Instead, my supervisor and I butted heads, up until the day I was asked to leave. While scary, it was also very exciting! Four years later, I can say that it's been the best thing that ever happened to me. I wouldn't be where I am today with my blog and YouTube channel if I hadn't been pushed out of my comfort zone. This video will share with you how Thrift Diving came to be, starting in 2010, and where I am planning to go for 2019, along with my appreciation for my awesome readers and viewers! I also wouldn't be where I am today without you. Thank you for the years of support and friendship!
