Ambassador to China determined to have detained Canadians released

Canadian Ambassador to China, John McCallum, said January 16 that he has spoken to all three Canadians detained in China, including Robert Schellenberg, who is facing the death penalty, and is "determined" to save Schellenberg's life.
McCallum added that Canada needs to work "on many fronts" to show China that the detainment of Canadian citizens is not in China's "best interest."
