3 Man Insurrection Prime Boss - Scourge of the Past | Destiny 2

3 Man Insurrection Prime Boss - Scourge of the Past | Destiny 2

This is the first completion of a 3 man of the new Scourge of the Past final raid boss, Insurrection Prime.
First off, HUGE GG's to my team and clanmates from Redeem: Chevy and Sweatcicle. Their channels can be found here:

Strategy Breakdown:
We start by having two players take out the back/side weak spots, while the other player takes out front ones. This breaks the shield. Then two players are sent to the first Berserker and take him down. After they slam in the correct spots, one of those two players purposely dies and gets revived by the other. This gets rid of the cooldown timer on the player that gets revived. The cooldown timer prevents a player from picking up another charge within 2 minutes. The player who did the reviving swaps places with the "map reader." Now the previous map reader and the other player who lost his cooldown timer team up on the next Berserker, with the new map reader giving directions. Both orbs are slammed, a tank is summoned, the boss is shot, and all three players DPS in their own Wells. We separate for DPS because of the "EMP debuff." If your debuff overlaps with a different debuff, it Tethers you and you will die. For the 3 man, each player is ALWAYS given a DIFFERENT debuff. This debuff only becomes a buff when two of the same are combined.
The second round starts off exaclty the same. It only changes after the first set of charges are placed; at this time, the same player from the first phase purposely dies again after slamming, however, the map reader gets the revive since the other player has already used his revive token. Then the rest of the phase is completed as the first was.
For the third and final phase, everything remains the same up until the first set of charges and placed... again. This time, the OTHER player (the one who got the revive in the first round) purposely dies and gets revived by the only player left who has a revive token. The player who gets the revive becomes the new map reader, while the other two team up on the final Berserker. This final phase is where everything is just slightly different for most of the players. Then the second set of charges and slammed, and the boss is finished off!
FAQ:
Why all the switching with roles and revives throughout the phases?
Each player only has ONE revive token per encounter. So we must space out one revive per phase, making the encounter a MUST three phase fight. We are aware of a possible "revive" glitch, where revives might reset for players. However, we did not want to exploit this if we didn't need to... and we didn't need to :)
How the EFFFF are you skating like that with a Warlock? Is this a macro and a PC only thing?
Absolutely not. It's basic Warlock "sword skating," essentially. You can only do this on a Warlock and it's done by hitting "JUMP MELEE JUMP" in a row, rather quickly. This is NOT a PC exclusive thing.
Hope you enjoy this run as much as we did completing it. Don't mind my little boasting at the end, I was just super freaking pumped about snagging those two weak spots haha. Full team effort here, from beginning to end, and thanks again to my team!
